Story
Declan is a keen cyclist enjoying ride outs with friends and family. Some of these occasions where with Darron prior and even during his illness and treatment, and they always enjoyed the 'craic'. Declan was very supportive of Darron looking out for him when they were out on the road and encouraged him to do every mile possible even when resources where running low! This event is an amazing opportunity for Declan to remember Darron, challenging himself to a 'long....' ride and raise monies along the way for a very valuable local hospice resource in Leicestershire. He did it.....
17th August 2019So, Declan completed the bike ride, part of it on the hottest day in history and numerous punctures along the way and eventually having to use a back up bike! But pure determination and knowing Darron was with him all the way, meant he stuck at it and got there despite added challenges.
